exploring tallinn's best spots from a central hub

my stay was all about convenience, with a short walk to the fine tallinn old town less than 10 minutes away and easy access to kadriorg park a bit further along, making my weekend strolls both enjoyable and nice.

The breakfast was free and very very good, I loved it. The location was best possible and just what I needed, it was walk from a ferry port. The place was a minute walk from the heart of Tallinn.

The staff - some of them were not so nice.

The breakfast was dreadful, basic and weak, as the service felt non-existent. The automated check-out kept pestering me with texts, very rude. I expected a complimentary upgrade after such inconveniences, but apparently, the hotel thinks everyone is a regular guest. I almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn't.

We truly enjoyed the hotel, free and very good breakfast.

fully equipped hotel in a quiet location convenient to the helsinki ferries, the services where excellent. the view of the harbor was panoramic and our room was great value for money and well-equipped. it had great facilities, every venue should provide baggage storage and big windows. location: the hotel was so close to everything, shops, cinema, old town, ferry, beach, good cafes, harbour, old town and the rottermann quarter, and tallink ferry dock.

The rooms are practical, with awesome views, and the location is awesome in a touristic area. Tea and coffee, and luggage storage are available.

Enjoyed the stylish and clean Single Room, but the lack of windows made it uncomfortably warm.

Utilize the communal kitchen area for self-catering meals and snacks during your stay.

Room was large and modern, we loved the A/C system that worked flawlessly even during the hot nights! Staff was consistently kind. They were really good too. You won't find that everywhere!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I guess you pay for quality.

Self-service systems require clearer instructions!!! Mismanagement of room bookings results in frustrations!!! A lack of essential amenities like kettles detracts from the experience!!! Issues with room sizes lead to disappointment!!!

Location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Old Town and near the ferry terminal. The automated check-in process was smooth and easy, while the room itself was well-designed with comfortable beds and free Wi-Fi. Plus, the communal kitchen area was a great bonus for quick snacks!

Citybox Tallinn City Center is an efficient and clean hotel located conveniently near a tram stop and within walking distance to both the ferry and the old town. The self-check-in process was straightforward, and the comfortable, modern room met my needs perfectly. I appreciated the overall design and cleanliness of common areas, which enhanced my stay.

Bathroom odor issue.

Efficient automated check-in system made things swift, eliminating waiting around. The communal kitchen area provided a handy spot for grabbing snacks or preparing simple meals.

Not having a wardrobe in the atrium room threw me off. I expected more light based on the website photos, but it felt darker than promised. Limited amenities like the absence of a kettle or boiler meant you had to request basic items, which could be less than convenient. The self-service aspect had its quirks-navigating the automated systems wasn't as clear as it should be.

I had a fantastic experience! The online check-in was super easy and my room was spacious and spotless. Only downside was the heavy curtain that blocked the heater a bit.
